I became involved with Bulgaria 2 years ago , and went on to buy several houses there in various locations. I met Svetla via the MYBG forum (www.mybulgaria.info) where she offered her translation , accomodation and property related services.When I visited BG with friends and family we stayed at her b&b. She was a superb host and could not have made us more welcome. I then went on to use Svetla’s translation/property services, and Svetla now totally manages my property affairs. She has given her time generously to take me to deal with various matters eg paying water/elec/ rates bills. Whenever I am stuck with the language barrier Svetla bails me out!
Over the last year Svetla visits my property on a regular basis, and completly oversaw the reconstruction of a new barn at my house, She appointed the builders (my neighbours)- I simply sent the funds to her, and she released it upon regular visits, sending me photos by email throughout. Svetla has proven to be thoroughly reliable and trustworthy. She has been exceptionally efficient.
I feel very fortunate to have met Svetla and her family, and now regard them as friends. She has really made things happen for me in BG which would have otherwise been impossible at such distance

Svetla, thank you for answering my barrage of questions for weeks before my arrival, getting everything organised for me, picking me up off the train and taking me, with trembling knees to the lawyer to inspect , translate and receive the deeds and company documents, which thank goodness were all in order. Svetla offers a completely professional and good natured service, send photos all the time of anything she oversees, like house maintenance and is faultless. thank you so much. |

My friend Eddy recently visited a Dentist based in Shuman, (he was quoted £1400 for a bridge in the UK) with the help of Svetla (translator) and her own family Dentist, Eddy had a new bridge fitted for 500 lev (approve £200) this included extraction of tooth 20 lev and X-ray 7 lev
He had all the work completed in two weeks and
Although Eddy had a major Dental Phobia, as well as the language barrier to contend with, Svetla was invaluable and excellent in translating to the Dentist about Eddy??™s phobia, the Dentist was able to reassure Eddy to relax and between Svetla and the Dentist they were able to translate any fears and concerns that Eddy had.
Eddy is over the moon with the professionalism and the care that he received, and off course his new bridge.
So it pays to shop around and have a relaxing Holiday at the same time!

My travels have taken me to many areas of Bulgaria. I travel alone, and find the country fascinating. Svetla collected me by car at very short notice. Her company is very stimulating, and we had some excellent conversations about the life and history of Bulgaria. The access of good translation of legal documents were of great use. Madara, is a beautiful and friendly village. I would highly recommend this place and its many facets. |

I recently stayed at Svetla,s guest house with 3 friends on a working party.
The hospitality and welcome was nothing short of superb.A wonderful place to experience Bulgarian culture at first hand. Food and facilities great. One of the recent sucesses was getting dental treatment in Shumen for a British visitor. Svetla\'s family dentist is a good one. If you need dental treatment why not get it done when here on holiday ? |
